Account & billing

Your subscription & invoices

How bookto bills you for your plan, where to manage it, and how to get a copy of your invoice.

Where to manage it

Everything about your plan lives on the Billing page: your current plan, upgrading or downgrading, cancelling, and your payment method.

Upgrading & downgrading

Upgrading from Essentials to Flow takes effect immediately — Kit, Onfact, and the extra product slots are available right away. Downgrading from Flow to Essentials takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and if you have more than 2 products at that point, they're all deactivated (you can then reactivate up to 2 and delete the rest). The full rules are in What happens after the trial?

How billing works

bookto bills you monthly for your plan. The payment is collected automatically — this is a separate bookto charge, not a fee on your sales (your buyers' payments go directly to your own Mollie account, untouched). Your business name and validated VAT number from the Account page appear on your bookto invoice — which is exactly why VAT validation is required before you can start (see Complete your account).

Your invoice

After every payment, bookto automatically emails you an invoice for your subscription — you don't need to request it. Keep it for your bookkeeping. If you ever can't find one, check your spam folder first, then email support@bookto.eu.

Don't confuse the two invoices: the bookto invoice is what you pay us for the platform. The invoices you send your buyers are separate and live in your own accounting software (e.g. Onfact) — see Set up automatic invoicing with Onfact.
