Cookie Policy

Version 1.1 — 29 May 2026

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit. They help the website remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and understand how visitors use the site. Some cookies are essential for the website to function; others are used for analytics and are only placed with your consent.

2. Who places cookies on this website

ianka fleerackers Comm. V. (hereafter “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a Belgian limited partnership (commanditaire vennootschap) with registered offices at Nieuwstraat 84, 2880 Bornem, Belgium, and enterprise / VAT number BE 0824.677.865.

This cookie policy applies to checkout.bookto.eu and all pages served under that domain.

3. Cookies we use

We group cookies into four categories: strictly necessary, analytics, marketing, and embedded media. You can accept or decline each optional category individually in the cookie banner. The tables below list the cookies actually placed on this website today.

3.1. Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the website to function. They cannot be switched off. They are set in response to actions you take, such as logging in or filling in a form. No consent is required for these cookies under article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) and the Belgian Act of 13 June 2005 on Electronic Communications.

3.2. Analytics cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the website by collecting information anonymously. They are only placed after you give explicit consent through the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google.

Cookie nameProviderPurposeDuration
_gaGoogle Analytics 4Distinguishes unique visitors2 years
_ga_*Google Analytics 4Maintains session state2 years

Google Analytics 4 is configured with IP anonymisation enabled and advertising features disabled. We do not use Google Analytics data for advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking. Data is processed by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC. For transfers to the United States, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

3.3. Marketing cookies

Marketing cookies would be used to measure and tailor advertising campaigns. We do not currently run any marketing cookies on this website. This category is shown in the cookie banner and stays switched off unless that ever changes. If we introduce marketing cookies in the future, they will only be placed after you give explicit consent, and this policy will be updated to list them.

3.4. Embedded media cookies

Some pages may embed third-party video (for example YouTube or Vimeo). When you choose to play an embedded video, the provider can set its own cookies. These are only loaded if you enable the “embedded media” category in the cookie banner. We do not control the cookies set by these third parties; please consult their own cookie policies for details.

4. Your consent

When you first visit checkout.bookto.eu, a cookie banner lets you control each optional category — analytics, marketing, and embedded media — with a separate toggle. Strictly necessary cookies are always on and cannot be switched off. You can Save preferences to store exactly the categories you enabled, or Accept all to enable every category at once. If you decline a category, no cookies from that category are placed. Your choices are stored in the cookie_consent cookie for 365 days.

You can change your preferences at any time by clearing your cookies in your browser settings and revisiting the website. The cookie banner will appear again.

5. Google Consent Mode v2

We implement Google Consent Mode v2 in accordance with EU requirements effective since March 2024. This means that before you give consent, Google Analytics receives a signal that analytics storage is denied. No cookies are set and no identifiable data is collected. If you accept analytics cookies, the consent signal is updated and Google Analytics begins collecting data. If you decline, the denied state persists for the duration of your visit.

6. How to manage cookies in your browser

In addition to the cookie banner, you can manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from logging in to your dashboard.

Instructions for the most common browsers:

7. Third-party cookies

We do not use any marketing, advertising, or social media cookies. We do not use Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or any similar tracking technology. The only third-party cookies on this website are from Google Analytics (with your consent) and Supabase (strictly necessary for authentication).

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this cookie policy when we add or remove cookies, or when legislation changes. The version number and date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. If we add new cookie categories that require consent, the cookie banner will reappear.

9. More information

For more details about how we process personal data, see our Privacy Policy. For questions about this cookie policy, contact us at legal@bookto.eu in English or Dutch.
