First option: just cancel
If you only want to stop paying, you don't need to delete anything. Cancelling your subscription (from Billing) stops billing and deactivates your checkout links, but keeps your account and all your data — so you can come back and reactivate later. See What happens after the trial?
Permanently deleting your account
If you want to remove your account and personal data entirely, you can do that yourself:
- Go to Account and scroll to the Danger zone at the bottom.
- Click Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm — this is how we make sure it isn't accidental.
What happens then:
- Your subscription is cancelled.
- Your products and checkout links stop working.
- Your account and personal data are removed from bookto.
- You receive a confirmation email that your account has been deleted.
This is permanent and can't be undone. Before you delete, save anything you still need — in particular, keep copies of your invoices from your own accounting software, since your bookto data is removed. If you only want a break, cancel instead of deleting.
